Pankaj Advani beat former world champion Geet Sethi to become the ONGC IBSF World Billiards champion played at Bangalore 6 frames to one. Speaking to newspersons he said that all through he was nervous but happy to clinch the title in front of the home crowd. According to him it will remain a very special event in his life.
Geet Sethi said that Billiards should be a part of the Olympic sports movement......and that would be great news for the country hungry for Olympic medals. It will give this nation plenty of opportunities to win Olympic medals. The same can be said about cricket as well. Is the International Olympic Committee listening?
